In 2008 FPAB will focus on 'Stewardship for image and profile building as SRH and Rights organization' with special emphasis of partnership, coalition building for advocacy for rights approach for women and other deprived and marginalized population.
With this emphasis FPAB will strive to take a lead role in SRHR issues among the allied agencies; create new avenues to embrace new partners particularly with GOB, enroll the young professionals and more female members under it's governance - membership umbrella who will create an enabling environment in the governing bodies across the level.
Main streaming and integration of 'gender equity and equality' in all components of Five As, sharing best practices, cost effective models and accomplishing effective linkages at the national and district (branch) levels are among some of the challenges in 2008. Increase of financial resources with innovative ideas and self generated local level approaches are also the prime focus of FPAB 2008.
To establish the Universal Access in a rights based environment, more organizational investment is necessary to strengthen the process that was laid through Social Audits, use of entitlement index for determination and assessment of deprivation ranking in the program locations embarking on participatory approaches to the stakeholders and the community. Evaluation and monitoring to be incorporated in all components of the organizational focus.
