| FPAB's New DG |

 Family Planning Association of Bangladesh (FPAB) has appointed Dr. Jahir Uddin Ahmed as its new Director General with effect from 13 September 2009.
Dr. Jahir obtained M.B.B.S from Dhaka Medical College and M.SC in Community Health in Developing Countries from London University-London.
He was also director of Family Planning Directorate of MOH&FW.
As an affiliate of International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF) , FPAB is the oldest and largest family planning non-government organization in Bangladesh, which pioneered family planning movement in the country. FPAB a national NGO engaged in Sexual Reproductive Health & Rights services since 1953. |
