Circular.....Dr. Jahir Uddin Ahmed Acting Director General

This is for general information of all concerned that Dr. Jahir Uddin Ahmed has taken the charge of the Director General (Acting) of FPAB on the forenoon of 7 August 2008 from Dr. Halida Hanum Akhter in reference to a decision of 164th National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting of FPAB, which is the governing body of FPAB. This has also the reference of the letter issued vide memo. no.-FPAB/3453/dt. 7 August, 2008 of Alhaj Md. Showkat Ali Talukder, Acting President of FPAB.
Dr. Jahir Uddin Ahmed after serving the government of Bangladesh in the Directorate General of Family Planning under the MOH&FW in different positions starting from District Technical officers of Comilla (FP) from 2 April 1977 and retiring from the post of Director (Logistics and Supply) and Director (Planning) Directorate General of Family Planning on 30 August 2005. Dr. Jahir Uddin Ahmed joined FPAB as Additional Director General (Program, Administration & Human Resource Management) of FPAB on 1 September 2005.
Dr. Jahir Uddin Ahmed did MBBS from Dhaka Medical College (K-25) in 1972 and M. Sc. in Community Health in developing countries (CHDC) from London University in 1985.
Dr. Jahir Uddin Ahmed, Director General (Acting) of FPAB is earnestly requesting all help and cooperation from all.
